 Local businessman Nathan S.
Thomas, licensed real estate broker,
recently gave the Auburndale Main
Street a $5,000 challenge gift to begin
a new business partnership program
in Auburndale.
Nathan’s basis for making this
donation was his feeling that he likes
the direction that the Chamber-Main
Street leaders are taking to improve the downtown area and
the quality of life through a strategic planning approach.
The purpose of the donation and the business partnership
program is to encourage other companies, businesses
and individuals to make similar donations in order to continue
to improve the downtown area and the quality of life
throughout the Auburndale community.
"I am happy to have had the opportunity to make the
donation to the Auburndale Chamber-Main Street and I
am in hopes that other business leaders and residents will
follow my lead." States Nathan.
Director Joy Pruitt extended a grateful appreciation for
the challenge gift and stated Auburndale is a great city and
the Auburndale Chamber-Main Street, and city leaders have
a wonderful vision for this community.
The challenge gift
